I received an email notice recently about nature classes being taught at Padilla Bay (located at the mouth of the Skagit River up near Mount Vernon). When I got to their website, I discovered all sorts of interesting family-oriented classes and events for everyone from kids to adults.
A couple of years ago, they had a class on drawing in a Nature Journal … any of you who read my e-newsletters know I really love the idea of keeping personal Nature Journals.
