Wow … what a blast from the past! This is the Bellevue I remember!
The photo that displays before the video begins (Strom’s Cleaners and Bob’s Texaco) was a view of the Southwest corner of NE 8th and Bellevue Way. This is where our family always got gas for our car — remember full-service gas stations? My mom would run into Strom’s with her dry cleaning while Bob filled the car with gas, cleaned the windows, and checked the oil level.
Now this corner is part of the Bellevue Square mall!
